Steve Cinelli
Chief Executive Officer, PRIMARQ
Steve Cinelli’s business background has primarily been centered in the world of finance and strategy. He has twenty-five years of private equity, banking and strategic planning experience in large corporate organizations and entrepreneurial environments.
Steve was a founder and served as Head of Investment Banking for OffRoad Capital, an internet-based capital market system for private securities. He founded Prestwick Partners, Inc., a corporate finance and strategic advisory firm dedicated to growth companies. He was a Principal in Knightsbridge Partners, a private equity firm focused on leveraged buyouts of middle market consumer products companies. Steve began his career with BankAmerica, serving in its Technology Banking Group and later as Vice President with the Merchant Banking Group of Security Pacific Bank, focused on highly leveraged transactions.
A graduate of Santa Clara University, he earned a BSC in Economics and Marketing, and an MBA in International Finance from Golden Gate University.
William Kern
Chief Operating Officer, PRIMARQ
Bill has over 30 years of experience as a business owner, seasoned entrepreneurial leader and Global 1000 management consultant. He specializes in the processes underlying substantial organizational development and growth. Bill is recognized as an industry expert in the field of project, program and portfolio management and was the co-founder of the Stanford Advanced Project Management Program. He has had P&L responsibility for numerous organizations where he has driven significant growth in both established and start-up enterprises. He has proven to be an effective change agent, motivator, team builder and public speaker with a strong track record for creating immediate top and bottom line improvements in his own companies as well as client organizations. Bill also has proven strengths in new business formation, improved culture management, integrated market branding, account development and product management.
Stephen Grant
Director, Investor Relations, PRIMARQ
Stephen has been consulting wealthy individuals and institutions for almost 20 years in portfolio construction, investment selection and portfolio management including equities, mutual funds, fixed income and alternative investments (hedge funds , real estate and private equity). In addition he has several years experience in assisting families in investment planning. Stephen has spent most of his career at large institutions (Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley), but being independent gives the firm the flexibility to meet clients’ needs without the biases and agendas of the major firms. Whether servicing an individual or institution, he likes to be seen as a valued advisor to assist in exploring and evaluating various investment opportunities, and helping clients achieve their financial goals, both for this generation and the next.
Steve Harshbarger
Chief Technology Officer, PRIMARQ
Steve Harshbarger brings broad technology, finance, design and leadership experience to PRIMARQ. As leader of the San Francisco practice for Plural, an e-business consulting and software development firm, he delivered custom solutions to Charles Schwab, NASDAQ, Wells Fargo, Merrill Lynch and Microsoft. As SVP of Product Development at Softagon, a consultancy catering to the alternative investments industry, he led the development of financial analysis and reporting products for leading hedge funds, REITs and brokers.
Steve was the inventor, co-founder and CTO of VizzVox, a web 2.0 digital storytelling medium used by the real estate industry to market residential properties. Early in his career, Steve spent six years at KPMG Consulting working on engagements to integrate and customize financial reporting, budgeting, and procurement software solutions for public sector clients.
Steve is a recognized technology industry expert with many books, articles, and speaking engagements to his credit. He holds a B.S. in Accounting Information Systems, cum laude, from Virginia Tech, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
